Matcha Ice Cubes
It’s a hot summer day and you’ve got your favorite matcha beverage on hand. You should be relaxing and enjoying yourself, but instead, you’re thinking about how little time you have before your marvelous matcha drink becomes a watered-down version of itself.
We’ve all been there. Whether it’s an iced matcha, a soda, or a cocktail we all want the same thing: Our beverages to stay icy cold without being watered down. And as matcha lovers and connoisseurs, we felt that it was our responsibility to solve this nagging problem, and we’ve found a simple but effective solution… Matcha Ice Cubes. Watching these melt only means that your drink is getting more flavor and more matcha magic. So, no need to hide from the sun. Ingredients
(Makes about 12 ice cubes)
2 tablespoons Tenzo Matcha
1⁄2 cup hot water
1⁄2 cup milk of choice
Directions
1. Whisk together 2 tablespoons of Tenzo matcha and 1⁄2 cup hot water until all matcha clumps have dissolved.
2. Pour matcha mixture into ice cubes, about half way to leave room for the milk.
3. Pour milk over the matcha mixture.
4. Freeze for 8 hours or overnight, until solid.
**Note, there might be some remaining mixture or milk depending on the size of your ice cube mold**
