Wake Up, Warm Up, Fuel Up

This cozy breakfast recipe will warm your tummy, and keep you satisfied all morning long. Creamy, comforting, and just a tiny bit sweet, a steaming bowl of Matcha Oatmeal is sure to hit the spot.  

With the added elements of free radical-fighting, metabolism-boosting Tenzo Premium Matcha Powder, this oatmeal packs a powerful punch. And thanks to the clean, green, caffeine you’ll feel more energetic, focused and calm throughout the day. 

It's the kind of breakfast that you'll be willing to actually crawl out from under the covers for.

Customize with your favorite toppings and pair with hot tea or a matcha latte, and enjoy a balanced breakfast built for a brighter 2018. 


  • ½ cup Quick Cook Steel-Cut Oats

  • ½ cup Cashew Milk (or milk of choice)

  • ½ cup Filtered Water

  • 1 tsp tenzo matcha powder

  • ½ tsp Maple Syrup (or sweetener of choice)

  • For Garnish: ½ Banana, and Dried fruits, Nuts and Seeds of choice


  1. Pour water and cashew milk into a saucepan and heat on high until just boiling. Spoon out about 2 oz of the hot liquid into a bowl and set it aside to cool for 1 minute. 

  2. Add oats to the saucepan, and turn heat to low.

  3. Using the bowl you set aside earlier, whisk together the matcha powder and hot liquid to make a matcha concentrate. Then gently stir the matcha concentrate as well as sweetener (if desired) into the oats. 

  4. Cover and cook on low for about 5 -7 minutes (depending on how thick and chewy you like your oatmeal), stirring occasionally.

  5. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for two minutes. Spoon into bowls and top with your favorite fruit, nuts and seeds ( we used pepitas, bananas and dried cranberries). Enjoy!
