Caramel Protein Matcha Smoothie
We did it! We created a perfect protein snack for you Tenzos. When late morning hits you with the hunger and you could use an energy boost, give this delicious smoothie a try. Who doesn’t like caramel? This flavorful combination will make this a new favorite in your snacking routine, and go ahead and try it with granola for a satisfying crunch. Snacking is an art form, and this beauty is a masterpiece. All ya gotta do is blend, so give it a try.
Caramel Protein Matcha Smoothie
Ingredients:
2 frozen bananas (in pieces)
¼ cup salted caramel protein powder (I used a vegan one)
1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum (optional- helps with thick texture)
3/4 cup oat milk
2 medjool dates (pitted)
1 tsp Tenzo matcha tea powder
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth, then pour over granola or serve plain. Enjoy it for breakfast or as a pick-me-up snack throughout the day.
