Sustainability & Giving - Tenzo Matcha

Tenzo Sustainability Statement

Corporations report quarterly profits to boards of directors in financial statements. Tenzo is committed to being held accountable for more than just profits.

All departments at Tenzo create plans which are aligned with our aspiration for a more sustainable future and to eventually cut our carbon footprint to zero.

Running a business means we use a lot of resources and those resources emit carbon. Everything we make, buy, ship, and sell leaves a carbon trail. We are on a mission to show that through design, planning, and a powerful commitment to sustainability, we can be a resource-positive company.

Climate change is the most important issue of our time, and Tenzo supports the United Nation’s net zero or carbon neutrality global commitments for creating a more sustainable and prosperous world for everyone.

Our sustainability approach involves using Tenzo as a force for purpose-driven change.

We strive to become a certified B Corporation and are in the Assessment phase of certification. We believe that sustainability is holistic and our values, vision, and policies include, providing for employees’ financial, physical, professional, and social well-being, contributing to our communities, overall environmental stewardship, always improving the value we provide our customers, and to be a transparent corporation.

We believe that taking action drives real change.

We believe this is an important and critical part of doing business, and it is simply the right thing to do.

Our matcha provides a focused sustained energy, which allows our customers to achieve their goals, which makes them happier citizens. Happier citizens are better for their partners, their families, and their communities. Healthier people, communities, and a healthier planet are our responsibility as a business and our entire team is passionate about this commitment to the world.

I quit coffee for matcha. It was hard at first. But Tenzo helped me succeed. I’m a new person because of it! And the packaging is so pretty and the Matcha is so yummy! I definitely recommend Tenzo!
